Independence Day 2011: Celebrating The American Woman

On this Independence Day, most of us are rightfully celebrating all things American.  In addition to celebrating the freedoms and liberties secured for us by The Founding Fathers, some of us celebrate the women of The United States.  This is fitting, for one of our greatest achievements is the All-American Gal — tough on the outside, tender on the in, this unique tribe of females have helped make America the great nation she is.  Steadfast and true, they have civilized The West, preserved homesteads in The South, and forged a new world in The East.  They are the one of the most precious treasures in the American vault.

This past Saturday, The TCOTS Rule 5 Compliance Committee began the celebration with some good old American pulchritude by featuring New Hampshire lovely, Erica Campbell, in our most coveted spotlight.  Others have done the same this Independence Day Weekend.

Here are a few…

-Stacy McCain has Michele Bachmann swinging on the dance floor with her husband.

-His Majesty, King Shamus has Martina McBride [BTW: She will be on the Boston Pops telecast tonight at 2200 EST].

-Loopyloo defends Sarah Palin and does a damn fine job of it.

-What would July 4th be without hot dogs and lovely gals in bikinis?  We’ll never know this year because Admiral Teach has got the goods.  He’s also got a Patriot Quiz.  The Admiral, a lover of tradition, honors that quintessential American Gal: the Pinup.

-From the Only In America file: Allahpundit reports on the first chick ever to win the Coney Island Hot Dog Eating Contest.

-Theo Spark — ’nuff said.

-Proof celebrates a premium flavored American babe.

-Randy is randy for chicks in American Flag bikinis — what red-blooded American Male ain’t?

-Donald ‘Restraining Order’ Douglas has Midnight Blue and that deadly-to-Bolshes combo: Angie Harmon and the American Flag.

-Classy guy that he is, Lance Burri decides to honor the uniquely American female sport of mud wrestling.

-Jamie Jeffords, on the other hand, always stays classy.

-Big Fur Hat honors Kate Smith.

If you featured an All-American Gal, please let me know ASAP so I can a link to your place.  As you can see by the links presented above, your posting need not be a typical Rule 5.  As long as it’s a positive post about some American Gal, it is welcome for inclusion here.

Here are what some of The Rightosphere’s All-American Gals have done to commemorate Independence Day…

-Red, Caught Him With A Corndog

-Pundette.

-Dame Maggie.

-Adrienne.

-Angel, Woman Honor Thyself.

-Pam Geller.

-The Conservative Lady.

-The Lonely Conservative.

-Amusing Bunni.

-The Ol’Broad has been rambling about in surgery.  Why not head on over to her shack and wish her well.

-Pat Austin [FYI: As you will not be surprised to learn, Lance Burri chooses this time to make fun of poor Pat's sprained ankle].

-Vicki McClure Davidson [this is a great one] and, also, check out her report on the way conservative women are treated by the MSM.

-Little Miss Attila.

-Michelle Malkin.

-Nice Deb [and also check out these two versions of my favorite patriotic song].

-Obi’s Sister.

-Karen Howes.  Also, check out the story of one of her ancestors who fought at The Battle Of Bunker Hill.

-Tere.

-Zilla.

-Gabriella.

-Loopyloo hits a home run of celebration: first base, second base, third base, home plate.

I think I’ll end with one of our greatest Founders…and her husband:
